When the Anthony Campi Race team set out for Desoto Speedway, they had one goal in mind, qualify the car up front and finish all 100 laps. Our goal was to gain valuable experience. Anthony did just that. In his 3rd start in a late model, Anthony qualified 7th with a 15.24 second lap. When the 100 laps were over, Anthony brought the car home in 6th place. The team and Anthony feels the more seat time Anthony has the better he will finish. The Anthony Campi Race team plans to try and run 5 to 6 more 100 lappers before the season is over.
